Une étude menée par PwC France et l’Usine Digitale, auprès de 540 décideurs, révèle que si les entreprises collectent bien les données, elles ne sont que 25% à les exploiter grâce à la data science (source : usinedigitale.fr).

Seules les grandes entreprises paraissent donc tirer profit du potentiel de leurs datas. La data science et l’IA réservées aux grandes entreprises ?

Cette étude nous apprend également que les grands groupes sont dotés de 46% de profils experts (data analyst par exemple), contre 24% pour les entreprises de 499 salariés et moins.

Les résultats concernant l’intelligence artificielle révèlent la même tendance : 30 % des entreprises de plus de 2500 salariés utilisent déjà l’IA, alors que 44% des structures de moins de 499 salariés ne projettent pas d’utiliser ces technologies.

Il semblerait donc que l’exploitation des données et leur analyse approfondie soient réservées aux grosses structures.
